Hello Everyone:
It's all ready for swap... PERFECT STRANGERS 150 eps, the original ABC Broadcasts, all in tele-cast order, on 14 DVD-R's formated at 6-hour-compression.. Quality is only FAIR, but for a fan of the show it is viewable/and/totally watchable, it's just soft and pixelated.. but the colors are there amd there is no rolling.. Think of this set as something 4 'ur your trade list until a higher-quality set starts circulating out there. All discs are GUARANTEED to replicate/duplicate in your burner.. The type of recorder used makes a big difference, too, in the end result.

i got this set from donald this week, quality is not the best, i woudl call it a low 6 of 10, maybe a 5 on some peoples scales, and no menus at all, but it is nice to have the complete series for now, he shipped fast and is an honest guy!

Thank you for your observations. This is the situation. People wanted me to get PERFECT STRANGER COMPLETE, out of the Top Shelf of my closet and into circulation A.S.A.P. so what I did is simply transfer the VHS tapes at 6 hour vhs format -2- 6 hour DVD format straight thru... It took me 5 days working on this practically non-stop to get the transfer done. To do this a little better I would need to use a VCR with an S-Video Output - I would also need to record onto 4-hour format DVD's, and I would really need to make each episode an individual title. Better source tapes for at least part of this project would also be a big help. I understand that there are others who have at least the early part of the series on high quality vhs/or/dvd at least that is what is rumored. Anyone out there that wants to collaborate on such a project, please express your thoughts....

Just think Lamont, you are the "first kid on the block" to have this set. My ability to supply this set (I don't own a stand-alone DVD-duplicator) is limited, anyone who wants to obtain the set from Lamont, or one of the other SITCOMS ONLINE traders that I sent it "in advance" to are welcome to deal with those traders. Dear DAJIZZARIZZA:
When I transfered these VHS tapes to DVD last week, there was no question that the entire series was in broadcat (televised) order. The episodes are not individualed titled, and no I did not sit there with a print out from TV-TOME and actually check them off and index them. All I can tell you is that all eight seasons and all 150 episodes are there.. That's is all I can offer any person inquiring about these discs at this time. If you are seeking to put together a complilation with your first 4 seasons, then we need to drag out my VHS tapes again. Meanwhile, let's just get you a full set and let's discuss a further refinement of the collection, after you have had a chance to study the possibilities.. Your SITCOMS ONLINE BUDDY IS: Donny-Dawg
