Audition song
Haha, so I'm auditioning for a part in the musical "The Gift of the Magi" at a performing arts company and I need a song. The last audition at this place I sang the song "Downtown" ya know, "when you're alone and life is making you lonely you can always go...downtown"...so I like to sing something more obscure...but I'm willing to sing a soundtrack song too. I just like something that won't be sung be a lot of other people but is still recognizable. I'm also looking for something more soprano, because the last time I auditioned there it was before I got my voice lessons and I listen to whatever these people say because I'm inexperienced, and they told me I was an alto...well, my voice teacher said that they were wrong and that I'm a soprano, just one with a big voice, so I need to prove I'm a soprano so blah...haha...nobody's gonna even know what to say with how picky I am.
So help? Any suggestions? |
