A coincidence? Probably - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I'm sure we've all seen the picture featured on the 3rd season box set many times before. But I've often wondered if the boat they're standing in was intentionally painted red with a white trim, to give it the same color scheme as the red shirt with white collar worn by Gilligan. Of course it was probably a coincidence, but you never know. Any thoughts?

Most likely it was a coincidence--a prop borrowed by the photographer----although, it's not outside the realm of possibility that some network lizard asked for it because he thought it reinforced the fact that Bob was "the star."
