Default I know longer like the Becky character after what she said to her Father on the

episode when she married Mark. She was crying and said to her Dad-"if you knew how to run a Business Mark wouldn;t be unemployed and if I would be able to go to college, you screw up big time. I'm the only one who has the guts to say it."

He should have never spoken to her again in life

She cared about Mark more than her own family.

Yeah I remember that Episode... I thought that was kind of nasty thing to say to her own father.. I never liked the Becky that played roseanne even the 1st one.. i think they both had attitude problems.. I like Darlene and Dj the best out of all the kids.. Becky is just a spoiled brat.. just thinks of herself.

P.S. Mark isnt the greatest Guy on earth she could have gotten better then him lol.. He's just a jobless person.. and needs his wifey's Daddy to get him a job..haha

I think the writers had to make Becky extra b*tchy in this episode because Lecy Goransan was leaving the show at the time. They couldn't kill the character off and they had to think of some way of describing her absence so they had her marry Mark and move to Minnesota. That's why they made her so incredibly ungreatful and cruel in this episode, worrying only about Mark and completely ignoring the fact that both of her parents were out of work. Becky had her snide moments before but she was never THIS awful.

I doubt Becky and Mark would have even stayed together if Lecy hadn't left the show in the first place. Notice how Becky and Mark weren't together shortly before this episode aired - but the writers had to get them back together really quick in order to explain her absence from the show.

I hated the part when Roseanne was telling the kids that Dan was going to close the bike shop, and then she asked Dan ''You are gonna help Mark find another aren't you''

I just thought about something & maybe I'm late, but I had always thought that Becky had finished high school when she left with Mark am I right? Or she didn't finish high school? Because on one of the eps, Dan asks Becky.. aren't you going to school with Darlene today? So Becky was a high school dropout? Boy if you ask me, Becky got away too easily. If I ran away with some chick & got married. My parents would not even let me step foot in their home & Roseanne was just too kind to Becky when she came back!

Becky said in episode ''Homecoming'' that Mark got mad at her for quitting school. So I guess she dropped out.

For the most part, Becky was a selfish, inconsiderate brat. Darlene had it more together. I loved the episode when Roseanne and Becky are fighting and Becky moves in with her Aunt Jackie. Darlene goes over to see Becky and gives her Hell for being such an immature brat and causing so much turmoil amongst the family!!! I always applaud when I see that episode!!!

Yeah, that was pretty bad. But Dan's sarcastic remark was funny -

I don't have a job and your mother doesn't have a job, but we'll make Mark our first priority.

True. Becky had her bad moments but I applaud every time they show the scene where she told Darlene to finally drop the depression act already because she was milking it for all it was worth and getting out of chores. school work etc.
