I used to love this show but season three is the last one that I watched when I was younger. I have all 3 on DVD and now i cant wait for the rest of the seasons to see them graduate. Everyone keeps talking about this last episode where minkus comes back and I really cant wait to see it.

Well you will be very pleased with what you see. The show continues to be as good as it was during the first three seasons, and that episode with Minkus is great.

that minkus thing is in that graduation episode that's season 5 i believe
but the show i think got better with age the final is one of the best last episodes thats ever been on television

Bringing back Minkus and having him referring to Mr Turner was a funny and clever way to poke fun at the 'Chuck Cunningham-syndrome'.

If you prefer soap opera storylines and the characters turning into a parody of themselves, then you'll enjoy the later episodes. If you're like me, you'll see a pretty substantial drop in quality after Matt Lawrence enters the show.

when a show is good the viewer wants to become involved in the lives of these fictional characters you tend to like the characters and you want to see what happens.think about it any show that goes beyond 4 or 5 years become that way the characters grow up you see them grow up they get involved in relationships they get married some leave this is part of the growth of these shows it doesn't make them bad shows but yes they are indeed like soap operas.

I disagree about a 'pretty substantial drop in quality'. Yes, it's true that 'Boy meets World' got more and more over the top as the show went on. Yes, it's right that Eric Matthews changed a lot and became more stupid every season, and that also Cory changed slightly. But just those elements provide a great deal of humour and laughter in the later episodes. It's not all crazyness, by the way. The character still evolve. Altough thes episodes are over the edge, I found myself still identifying with the characters, and still loving them and caring about what happened to them. The more absurd themes made them in fact better and more enjoyable (is that a word?) in my opinion. (y)

i realy dont like the college episodes. im still debating whether or not if I would buy them when they come out. The highschool episodes are great and season 1 is my favorite.

too bad they changed the times of Boy Meets World...2 pm - 3 pm isnt good on ABC Family, nor is 2 am on Disney Channel

The problem with every sitcom centered around young people is how the writers can adapt as those characters get older. People fell in love with the show with a young Cory, Shawn, Eric, and Topanga. So obviously, it wasn't going to be easy to make that transition. However, the writers went on to dumb down seemingly everyone (with the exception of Shawn), and to me, it actually went from clever storytelling to unwatchable soap opera/bad parody television.

BMW went for the cheap laughs when Matt Lawrence came in. When they weren't going for the cheap laughs, they would play dramatic soap opera music just before someone would proclaim death, pregnancy, or sexual harrassment. Yes, I understand the premise is Boy Meets (the) World, but it wasn't good satire once Lawrence came in and they all went to college, IMO. The show was a lot more realistic (Cory and Topanga "knowing they loved each other since birth" aside) in the early seasons. Everyone could relate to Cory's first day of high school, or pretty much anything Cory went through for the first few seasons. I thought that was MUCH better television.

'Boy meets World' just turned into a completly different type of sitcom as the years passed by.

I read this description on Wikipedia and I found it striking and very true. Anyway, I agree with it:

The show is widely regarded as containing an uneasy mix of dramedy and smart humor (especially in the story arc of Shawn Hunter) and a non-stop straight-out farce, with the latter beginning to increasingly dominate the show as time went on. Fourth-wall jokes abound in multiple episodes that openly parody then-current movies (including Scream, Rounders, and The Truman Show), the casting of wrestler Big Van Vader and Baywatch's Yasmine Bleeth playing themselves as recurring characters, and repeated instances where characters mention the show's format, various plot formulas and continuity errors. The humor is mostly for adults because of use of hard-to-understand humor and lines.

Boy Meets World can be a sitcom that always have good and boring jokes in every scene but it is still a famous TV show of today.

Ive never seen a bad episode of Boy Meets World....it is easily one of my faVorite shows
