Hello. My name is Matt and I live in NJ. I am 20 years old. About 2 weeks ago, me and my girlfriend went to Belmar Beach in NJ to take a nice evening stroll on the boardwalk. A man approached me from the opposite direction and asked if I had cigarette he could bum. I took out my pack to give him one and he said "Tell you what, Ill give you a dollar for 3." I said ok. A few days later me and my girlfriend were watching UM on TV when suddenly there he was! The face of the man who just a few days prior gave me a dollar for 3 cigarettes! He had slightly longer hair than he did in the mugshot provided by the Lawton Police. I was so frightened by this that I was compelled to call the Lawton Police and let them know that I think I have spotted a killer. Anyone with any info on this case that could further facilitate this investigation, LET ME KNOW. I am all about this guy getting caught.
ON ANOTHER NOTE: The same episode of UM that featured the Kemp double murder and jailbreak, featured a segment about Dale Kersetter, the missing security guard from PA. If you have the name of the Plant where he worked that would be awesome. Any updates on that case? Anything regarding that case would be great. Ever since my experience with the Kemp encounter and seeing it on UM ... I think I Have and Unsolved Fever!! -Matt in NJ |

Wow very interesting! I'm glad you called the police to report it. What did they say? Does anyone know if this case has been profiled on AMW? If so you could also call their 800 number and report the area where you think you've seen him and maybe they would put it on the next edition.
Here's his UM profile in case you're interested. It has a nice sized picture of him: http://www.unsolved.com/0210-Kemp.html Keep us updated! |

The key here is Kemp's height, 6-3. That's unusual for the general population, in the top few percent. Matt, was the guy who bummed the cigarette that tall, in the 6-3 range? It's very admirable you took the time to report the episode. It definitely could be Kemp. He's certainly shown a propensity to move around, from Oklahoma to Bishop, CA to Las Vegas to supposedly Texas and now perhaps NJ. |

Good, I was hoping some receptionist didn't just take your message and file it right into the trash.

My gut feeling is that David Kemp is dead. I believe that if he did not seek out some type of help for his mental health issues that his issues would have eventually overtaken him and he would've committed suicide.
The police haven't exactly given up on looking for Kemp (http://www.coldcaseokc.com/article/davidkemp) but the trail is pretty cold by now and there is a decent chance that he is dead. |

But why would U say that?? How would he have died? He certainly wasn't suicidal otherwise he would've killed himself when they were hot on his trail but he never did.
