Season 6's delay - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Season Six will be released this Spring we all know, but we are all probably wandering why the sudden delay of the usually quick moving Lucy discs? My theory is they are working on an even nicer set this time, as an adieu to I Love Lucy's DVD Run. We already know a new unique feature is in the works- a colorized episode. (see link in 6th season dvd's post) Its offered as well as the original black and white version of the 6th and final season's Christmas/ holiday show.

What do you guys think?

I think that's a good possibility. But I think following season 6 will be a set of the hour long episodes.
