I've been recording them off-air at LP mode, 6 eps to a disc with ads removed. They're cut some, but not as badly as TVLand/Hallmark. Just started recording season 6 yesterday and it airs 5 days/week.

Can you let us know the running times minus ads? I tape some shows at LP and can get only 5 shows per disc with about 15-20 minutes left. Thanks. Jean

About 45 minutes each. Record in Panasonic at LP, high speed dub to RAM, transfer to computer, edit with VideoReDo and reauthor in MF2 and I get something like 4 hours and 20 minutes of running time onto a disc, allowing 6 episodes. Using my Panasonic-only to edit and burn I only get 5 episodes. Don't ask me why that is.

Thanks, for taking the time to answer my question. I really appreciate it! I have a few shows from LIFETIME (the worst for chopping), TNN and METV and I will now be able to compare which is the lesser of the cutting evils.
