Did you notice hou lousy some of the 1985-1987 season episodes were? Ricky "was" a really cute, and amusing kids for the early seasons, but that show went down the tubes. What were the ratings?

I don't know what the ratings were offhand, but they were bad enough that NBC cancelled it after 85-86. The last season aired in first-run syndication, and was produced solely to boost the number of episodes over 100, considered the magic number for a good rerun package.

In Boston, the final season didn't even air until the summer of 1987, when a local station began rerunning the show weekday afternoons. Those unseen episodes just popped up one day without warning, or anything advertising them as new. They were just lumped in with the older NBC episodes.
