Default What are your most embarrassing moments?

I have alot but I found that alot of them were when I was high school.

1.) I remember one time when I was in 8th grade I was in a hurry because I had to catch the bus & it was dark & I had about 6 minutes. I woke up super late. I threw on some clothes. Later to find out out I had two different pairs of shoes on. I didn't notice until I came into american history class & a girl laughed & pointed out I had two different pairs of shoes on lol. Everyone was laughing.

2.)I was out on a date with my girlfriend at the mall & I was at the food court & I went to get her some food. As I approached her & I tripped & fell & dropped her food. That was so embarrassing, everybody's head turned in my direction. She was laughing but she asked if I was alright. I said yeah lol .

3.)Playing basketball with my friends & I was trying to catch the ball & I had ended up getting hit in the face. Then it gave me a black eye on top of that.

Oh my God, my friends and I were really late to Bio after getting food. I had a pretzel with cheese. We were running down the stairs, me in Chinese style shoes. I slipped, fell down the stairs - WHICH KILLED - and got cheese all over me. Then the girl I hate most in the whole school had to walk up the stairs right then. I was about to die. So I get back to class, where my friend had told everyone I had a headache and went to the nurse. I come in with food, and they all go, "YEAH, HEADACHE, RIGHT." So I started crying and then my guy friend started making fun of me by walking his fingers along the desk and making them slip. And in our acting class, the teacher made me bend over a million times, when it was super painful.

Okay, we have this game where we all stand in a circle and then if he says your name, you bend over/duck down and the people on either side of you hold up a finger gun and yell "BANG!!" and whoever says it first wins, and the other person is out. He'd never called on me before and that day, he went, "Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn! Kaitlyn!" over and over and over and I was like UGGGH OMG.

My most embarassing moment would have to be in 2nd grade. I went to a planetarium over the weekend and I was all excited about being able to see Venus. Well, oddly enough, the subject of the day was planets. The teacher asked what planet we lived on and I knew the answer so I raised my hand. I wanted to say Earth. Instead, I said Venus. I remember not raising my hand for the rest of the day and turning beat red.

I don't know my "most" embarrassing moment, but I have an embarrassing story to tell from yesterday. I was wear fuscia and black yesterday. Right before I headed out the door, I realized I hadn't chosen my earrings, and I was searching around my earring box where they are all mixed around. I saw my pink earrings, and another one like it that was flipped to its backside. I put them on and headed out the door. It wasn't until LATER that evening I looked in the restroom mirror and found I had a pink AND black earring! I have three pairs of earrings (all different colors) that are the same style, so I wasn't paying attention to that mixed earring drawer. D'oh!!! No ONE had told me or pointed it out!!! I cannot believe how I was walking around ALL day like that! Oohhhhh... talk about feeling stupid - I REALLY felt it yesterday!!

My most embarrassing moment was freshman year when I went to a basketball game against our rival school and I tripped down the bleachers and fell on my back! Thankfully, it was like during the break from the JV girls game to the varsity girls, so it wasn't like everyone was quiet. Still, it was embarrassing for me and my back and butt hurt real bad!

I did something like that at the end of my 7th grade year many moons ago...Only it wasn't embarrassing, and it had a happy ending. My middle school had two indentical three-flight staircases that was in the general pattern as a spiral staircase. One day during lunch hour, I went upstairs to my science classroom to drop off my backpack (I had science immediately after lunch that year) and to go outside to meet my friends. I ran down and completed two flights and I went down three steps on the last flight, slipped and fell down the stairs. My middle school was built in 1936 during the Art Deco period, which meant marble floors AND stairs. Have you ever seen marble stairs? The edges are severely pointed. I went *BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP BUMP* down the marble stairs and landed on my ass on the HARD marble floor and screamed bloody murder because IT HURT SO MUCH. Fortunately, the flight of stairs I had just fallen down happened to be right next to my geography teacher's classroom, and I had a MAJOR crush on him that year. Teehee. So he and my science teacher both heard me screaming in pain and they came running out and found me on the floor. My geography teacher walked up to me, keeled down, offered me his hand () and pulled me to my feet. After he pulled me up, I almost fell down again because of the shooting pain going through my back. He held on to me til I was sure I had my balance back, and we walked to the office. Teehee. It makes me smile every time I think about it.

----

And to contribute to this thread, I do have an embarrassing story to share. This is also from 7th grade...My science teacher that year looked just like John Candy, only my teacher was super-short (no taller than 5'1) and had buck teeth. Dork, I know. I was 4'11 that year, almost as tall as my teacher . I used to have a bad habit back in middle school where I would glance down at my feet whenever I walked around, not paying attention to what was in my path. One day in class, I had to get up to go to the other side of the room for something and in doing so, I looked down at my feet. I was almost there when... *BAM* I ram SMACK into my teacher. Worse of all, it looked like we were HUGGING. Acccccckkkkkkk!!!!!!!! My whole class heard/saw me run into him and they started laughing at me. I turned beet red and almost started crying. Needless to say, I snapped out of my feet-staring habit VERY quickly after that incident!

My most embarrassing moment would have to be in the summer of 2003, I was almost 13, and my mom, my sister, and I went to a family reunion/grandmother's birthday party. And while I was watching people come in I saw this really cute guy that was around my age and I asked my mom if we were related. It turns out we weren't so I told her I thought he was cute because I thought I COULD TRUST HER!! A few minutes later after this guy and his family sat down, my mom knew his mother so she started talking to her....she sat right next to this guy (sorry i forgot his name) and told him I thought he was cute. SHE JUST WENT UP TO HIM AND TOLD HIM!!! WHAT KIND OF A MOTHER WOULD DO THAT TO THEIR TEENAGE DAUGHTER?!? GOSH!!! Seriously, I wish I was just making this up! She also made up these nicknames for me and my sister. One of my many nicknames is Lou-Lou and my sister is Lou. So when we're in public she forgets that people (many, many people) are around when she calls me "LOU-LOU-BELLE!!" or "KRISTA BELLE!!" or "TINKER BELL!!!!"

OMG, that is so funny! My mom calls me those cutesy nickames too (although, thankfully, never in public!) I can't believe she told that guy you liked him!

My most embarrassing moment would have to have been when I was in 6th grade. I used to hang out with a lot of guys back then ( where are they now, huh?!) and we were all lounging around in my kitchen, playing with my animals or something. Anyway, my Mom, Dad, and little brothers were around too, just doing their own thang while we were sitting there. I had just gotten my period the year before and ermm, had no concept that something red shows on light denim jeans. So, I'm sitting there with my legs slightly spread, laughing obliviously as I cuddle with my dog ( while my 6th grade boys hung around me ) and my brother screams: "Oh my god, Kristel's bleeding!" as he pointed at my crotch. I literally started bawling and ran in to my room. Alas, I no longer hang out with boys anymore.
