Refresh my memory on this one...was this the one where the lady left for a shopping trip or something and a guy in a truck stopped her? The guy suppossedly attemped to get other woman to pull over as well? If he's been found that's incredible, that one always spooked me!!!!

http://www.vspa.org/read_article.asp?ID=186 http://www.vsp.state.va.us/WantedPersons.shtm A man named Darrell David Rice was looked into as a possible suspect, but there was too little evidence to link him to Alicia's murder. Another suspect, Richard Evonitz, was linked to the murders of three girls, but he killed himself before he could be taken into custody. To this day, Alicia's killer remains unidentified.

Well Rice might very well be the guy, he has an MO that matches that. However do they have any DNA evidence? It would be hard to prove without DNA, he might very well have killed those other two women he was indicted for but the charges dropped because of a shaky case and they didnt want him to get acquitted only to have new evidence come to light later.

Horrible case re: this psycho who would try to convince women that something was wrong with their car, and then use this false "excuse" to get them to pull over so he could go after them. What a scum-bag.
It looks like there are suspects in this case, but it's too bad that they never definitively caught this guy. |
