Default Emmy Nomination for Jerry Stiller in 2006?

With Everybody Loves Raymond ending production, could this be the year where Jerry Stiller gets an Emmy nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 2006? Any episode he's in makes the show a lot funnier.

That's a good point. With Brad Garrett and Peter Boyle out of the running next year, you'd think that they would finally include Jerry. I hope they don't use 2 filler nominees, when Jerry has deserved this from the beginning.

I thing Jerry and Victor Williams will get one. Kevin will FINALLY get one is the Best Actor category, and Leah may get one for Best Actress. It depends on how the season goes. They might go ahead and jump on the Two And A Half Men bamdwagon, seeing as CBS isn't promoting TKOQ worth anything.

I'd be surprised [but very pleased] if Leah gets nominated. Desperate Housewives takes up so many spots, Debra Messing will get one as W&G is leaving. It'll be a close race.

Jerry Stiller would be cool too. The Emmys have paid so little attention to this show though, I'm not really expecting anything.

Yeah, I really see NO chance at all of Leah getting a nod.

I agree that Jerry deserves a nomination for Male Supporting Actor this year, but not Victor. I'd rather see Patton Oswalt get nominated. Of course Kevin deserves a nom & a win. I also think that the show should at least win Best Comedy Series once, but with Desperate Housewives there that is nearly impossible.

I'd also definitely choose Patton over Victor, but like with Leah, I can't see either ever happening.

I also agree that much of the cast deserves a nomination, and the show itself!!Sometimes I think that the only people who realize what a gem this show is,are the people on this board.

I get sick of the KoQ being ignored, ELR got sooooo much attention and they get nothing...Leah, Kevin, and Jerry deserve recognition from the Emmy's...I hope they get something because 8 years of a HIT comedy w/out recognition is a disgrace...and what about "Arrested Development? They won all of them damn awards, and recently got canceled!!! I just don't get it....

I think he does have a chance at a supporting actor nomination because he is very funny on the show
