TV What do you think of Out of Practice?

Tonight the show aired at 9:30. What did you all think of the show? give your Opinion here!

I think it was kinda funny. I like Stockard but I can't understand why she was talking like that. It was too weird for me. I think in my opinion that the show won't last even if I was hoping it might get another season. We just have to wait and see.

The pilot wasn't that bad.. It was funny. Love seeing Henry Winkler.. Everyone is a doctor except 1 son who is a therapist and the daughter is a lesbian.. Cool. I loved the end when he sees the couple that he has worked with to get closer sitting at the table being loving.. The hubby gave her a flower.. Sweet.. I think I will watch again.. It was sad that the therapist's wife dumped him. And on the answering machine too.. Geez.

let's hope Chris Gorham can find a new show that lasts beyond one season. He's done 3 shows between Popular and this that lasted 1 season each. He is probably best known as Harrison John on Popular, which lasted for 2 seasons. Even tho he's playing his age now, he still looks like a 16 year old, lol.

Yeah, I also liked the end of the old couple. I think it was rude that his wife left that message on the machine. She should of left something like, "we need to talk. Call me." I can't wait for the next episode.

I kinda liked the pilot, which I just watched on tape.

Stockard Channing and Henry Winkler were very good. The Chris Gorham kid does need work though, let's hope he steps up to the plate, since he's technically the lead.

The one thing we have overlooked here good people is that the show also features Paula Marshall, who is notorious for the amount of one season shows she's racked up on her resume. Let's hope she finally breaks that ugly streak.

And please for the love of God more Jennifer Tilly.

She needs her own network.

It's strange seeing Henry Winkler in a different role, but the overall show was great! I hope it lasts longer than "Monty" did!

Anyway, I say four episodes before CBS makes the title literal.
I myself like the show for one reason only, Henry Winkler. It's been a while since we seen him in front of the camera since' Happy Days'. Other than the time that he was suppose to guest star on '8SR' with John; but we all know what happened on that horrible day.

I happen to watch the show since it was on right after 2 1/2 men, and I thought it was pretty good.

Im really starting to get into this show, and Lydia and Stewart were soo cute tonight with the whole dog this. Like him swallowing the phone and then the ring tone Lydia"Dont make me call the dog" or someting to that affect and at the end that was kinda sweet

LOVE IT!! and really hoping it will at least get one whole season

I like the cast. I'll watch it again to be fair. I saw some potential in the episode I DID see, but the show needs work.

I only watched it because it was something to look at between "Two and a Half Men" and "Medium". It's better than I expected it to be. I've always liked Stockard Channing but she seems to have a bit of a problem with comedy. Someone should tell her that shouting a line doesn't necessarily make it funnier. Still, the show is growing on me. Each week I find I'm liking "Out of Practice" a little more and "How I Met Your Mother" a little less.

Also, I find it funny that the dog's name is Monty.

This show has slowly become one of my favorite current sitcoms.

Of course having Paula Marshall in it helps. I have always had a crush on her ever since Cupid.

So you could say I am in love with a lesbian... LOL

After reading some scathing reviews I had low expectations, but after seeing the first and second episode I think it could do well. Right now it is finding its feet, but with time it could be a real winner.

The first episode was vanilla Frasier. It featured some good jokes, and although it did drag at times, it was still very good. The second episode was very funny, with lots of good character defining jokes. I even watched and enjoyed it a second time, which is always a good sign.
