Mrs. Bowman, but I guess that's a credit to the lady that played her.

In the very first episodes of season one Roseanne must have tried to use some kind of accent (midwestern) or something cuz the way she talked had a sort of "twang" to it. It annoyed the hell outta me. At first I thought it was a 'country' show, like HeeHaw or something...

another thing is that in the beginning of the show roseannes dad seemed like a typical grandpa/dad and she seemed to have no problem with him and then in the later years they made him out to be some kind of monster

I'll have to say that Roseanne looked so much different in the 1st and 2nd season than she looked in the finale seasons. She had a hard look about her in the finale season then the first.

Also Becky in her early and mid teen yrs, the way she would talk to Roseanne and Dan. I know teens go through things and have some conflict with their parents at one point in time. But she was just so disrespectful a lot of time.

Yeah there was an interview that I saw where she said she was asked to act a little bit more neortic (sp?) and silly and that she studdied alot of don knots tapes and sort of whirled his silliness into her character in mid 7th season all the way till the end...

Yeah all that bad plastic surgery...especially her cheekbone area, it always seemed to have a dark shading running along the cheekbone. As if she had that area of her facial area sucked out.

Another thing that annoyed me is it seemed the Becky and Darlene cared about their boyfriends more than their family.

Having been a teen before (way back when) we girls tend to do that...we don't know what we have until it's too late. Roseanne was real, it was the closet thing to reality that alot of people could relate to. I knew alot of friends that treated their mom and dads like dirt. Talking back, skipping school, cussing, yelling, etc. I am guilty of having done all of those. Unfortunately it's reality of alot of teens. NOT ALL OF THEM MIND YOU.
