Ever hear a song and you sing along to it for years and later find out the lyrics you were saying all along were wrong???

For me, growing up I loved that song "Blinded by the Light" the version done by Manfred Man. I always used to think that part of the song where they say: Blinded by the light
Revved up like a deuce, another runner in the night.

I used to sing it like this:
Blinded by the light
revved up like a douche like a roller in the night.

ROTFLMAO!!!!

I'm not sure who sings the song, I think it's Paul Young, but the song goes like this: Everytime you go away, you take a piece of me with you.

I use to think the lyrics were: Everytime you go away, you take a piece of meat with you.

Yep, that was Paul Young. It did sound like that's what he was saying. Very annoying. LOL

almost half of "She Bop" by Cyndi Lauper, I didn't understand as a kid.
"they say I better stop or I'll go blind"="a superstar or I'll go blind" (yes, I didn't think the song made sense when I heard that)
"I hope he will understand"="I don't even understand" (which could sorta make sense if she doesn't know what Bopping is, lol)

There's a line that goes

"Some old bed I'll soon be sharing."

I heard it as

"Some old men I'll soon be sharing," which made me wonder what the hell ol' Gregg was up to!!
