Default Who agrees that penny was too young to be insulting Bookman?

It just seemed so dumb to have a child disrespecting a grown man. I think this is where Willona didn't do a good job as a mother because she shouldn;t have been insulting bookman in front of Penny. So i guess Penny felt it was ok to insult him too. They should have never had the Penny character insulting an adult.

Good point! Penny was a minor & Bookman was an adult. It's common courtesy to respect him. But none of the Evans or Willona set a good example, so Penny felt it was alright to disrespect him too.Although I thought it was stupid & immature of the adults to make fun of him anyway.. I never thought the fat jokes were funny.

No the fat jokes weren't funny, just Willona's name for Bookman-"BOOGER"

Well, in the earlier episodes, Bookman was often a real jerk to the Evans family and often gave them a bum deal. In the later episodes, he seemed to become nicer and his human side was revealed with his concern about Penny's adoption (although his way of helping was VERY dumb), but the insults on Bookman seemed to continue anyway. They probably wouldn't have known what to do with his character if he wasn't the target of insults. I guess they could have always had him divorce his wife and marry Florida.

I agree with you up until the marrying Florida part LOL.

But when Penny would insult Bookman atleast most of the time she was so sweet and nice about it calling him Mr. Buffalo Butt.

That just showed Willona did a poor Job in raising Penny

Personally, I wished that Bookman would had spanked Penny's butt for treating him poorly. No, I agree, Willona and the rest of the adults did not set a good example by making fun of Bookman (like it was okay to tease someone)...Seeing Penny being rude and disrespectful towards Bookman or any adult to me is not remotely funny...

Penny was an abused child. I think she got enough beatings to last a lifetime. If some adult would have just told Penny to stop, I'm sure she would have. The simple fact is that none of the adults saw anything wrong with it. And maybe Bookman did have it coming somewhat, considering all the rotten things he did to the family in earlier episodes.
