called San Pedro Beach Bums? It didn't last very long. The premise of the show, I can barely recall had to do with several men who hung out in San Pedro California by the harbor. That's all I remember.

Ireneparalegal, if you are interested, I have an audio clip of the 1977 ABC fall preview (from The Magic of ABC) for The San Pedro Beach Bums at my site. Scroll down to the bottom. All I remember from the preview was some of the "bums" riding out of control down a steep road towards the water. I think...

Yep, I remember that one. Watched the few episodes they showed and remembered it to be pretty good. Of course, I was 11 then and many of the shows that I thought were great back in the day...don't hold up so well now.

I was kind of disappointed in it. I thought it had the potential to be kind of an updated East Side Kids/Bowery Boys but they made the guys such wimps that even the Bowery Boys would have kicked their asses.
