Happy Birthday, Greta Garbo
As I would say, today is the birthday of Greta Garbo. She would've been 100 years old today. Greta was one of the first MGM actress ever to appear in movies. She was in a number of films like "Grand Hotel", "As You Desire Me", "The Kiss", "Camille" and others. Her first MGM film was "Torrent" back 1926. That was the film that made Greta a star on her newly formed MGM. I remember "Camille" when it was used as a excerpt in the movie "Annie". Her last film was "Two-Faced Woman" in 1941. She continued her long life until she died back in April of 1990. That was 15 years ago. The DVD boxed set came out recently at Best Buy features all of Greta Garbo's best films. I will wish to say happy bithday to Greta Garbo. As I said before, she would've been 100 years old today. 100 years, that was a long time.
