I know Packers fans don;t give sh*t about him reaching 50,000 yds passing, especially since he is 0-2 and has more INT than TD's

You are wrong about that. Brett Favre is like a god in Green Bay.

First let me say I have not seen a GB game this year. With that said I am basing my comments on having seen the highlights, stats and heard commentary from "experts" on the whole GB offensive problems of this year.
Would you agree that the receiving core is weak at best, epsacially without star wideout J. Walker? And that the O-line has declined dramatically over the past few years to the point where they only have one/two proven players there today.
Now, no one is claiming that Favre has not lost some zip on his throws, but its nothing compared to what Jets fans have to bear whitness to in Chad Pennington. This guy can't seem to reach a target passed 25 yards. So the arm is there in GB, just no one to throw to or have protecting you long enough to "find" somebody who is open. Just a thought.

Agreed. And in big games too. That is definitely harder to argue then a weak arm.

i knew that Green Bay would never recover from that 4th and 26 playoff game defeat in 2004. It takes a long time for a organization to get over a lost like that.

Keep in mind that Favre is also playing with a heavy heart. His family lost everything recently to Hurricane Katrina. Brett Favre might not be the qb he has been in the past, but he is still a first ballot hall of famer.

Brain this goes back to 1999/2000. He has been on the decline since 2000 so it's not like this bad QB play just started this season

When you're the Green Bay Packers, when you're 0-2, and when your two losses are against Detriot and Cleveland - not exactly the toughest teams in the league, something is seriously wrong somewhere.

At the end of the day, I think a number of factors have contributed to the mess up north. Favre's head can NOT be completely in the game - plus one has to consider that the man is not a kid anymore. He simply is not as good as he once was, and never will be again. A large share of the problems though have to do with the fact that the rest of the Off seems to cave at the slightest hint of a defense - THE TEAM ONLY SCORED A FG AGAINST THE DETRIOT LIONS!. The Receiving team is mediocre at best, there's no run game, and the offensive line has deteriorated to the point that a piece of swiss cheese could hold off the defense better.

All this from the guy who picked 5 games right yesterday! Don't feel bad I was the same way last week!
