35 years ago yesterday (Sep. 18), he died in London of an accidential overdose....

what a musical loss. This past April when I visited Seattle, I visited his grave as well as that of Bruce Lee and Brandon Lee. Such losses.

Irene your right it is such a tragic loss. I always think what he would have done musically had he lived. No doubt one of the best guitarist that ever played.

A very sad day in rock and roll. Who knows what Jimi could have accomplished had he lived.

On a positive note, history was made that day when Black Sabbath released one of the most important albums of all time: Paranoid.
