I never really watched Roseanne all that much, I just watched a couple of episodes occassionally. I was just wondering what happened in the last season of Roseanne, that made people say it was awful? I heard many people say that it jumped in the last season, and that the writing got bad. Can anyone just give me a quick summary of what happened in the last season and why you think it jumped (if you think it did jump). Thanks.

Dan and Roseanne had a fight about his health in the season 8 finale and she stays with Jackie, but they make up @ the end of the episode. after that, the Conners won the 108 million dollar lottery, Dan goes to visit his mother in a mental institution, and when he gets back, Jackie overhears him talking to his girlfriend
Then he tells Roseanne and she throws him out. Then a few months later, Roseanne and Dan make up and a few moments after that Darlene goes into labor and gives birth to a premature baby girl and it survives. Then the Conners have a celebration for the baby's homecoming, but then Roseanne tells us that everything that happened after season 8 was fictional and thats the end. ![]() *I apologize if I left anything out or made a few grammar and punctuation mistakes, I was in a hurry.
