Getting back to the basic of awards shows

i have always enjoyed music Country,ROCK,Easy listening,Some Rap,Tecno,soundtracks. But the singing stars of yesteryears to thsese stars of today.From 1940-1950's they had class when they showd a up for anward they dress down with there fine long dresses while the guys have tuxedo'.and someone helps them out of the limosiune,some even bring there own cars,remember this wwas in the 40's and 50's.Fred Astair,Marlyin Monroe,Princess Grace,Natilee Wood. . ETC Back in the 40's the wards shows were right on time and it went smmothy,now in the year 2005 just wait and see what will happen. People like Jane Fonda Bradd Pitt,JLO ETC. mabe a cat fight or two. but as I was saying back where campagne champange freed flowlly
room and the stars were sitting proper, now days fights,guns,gangs, so hoep this award celemony will be a great one.

you know, I hate when awards show go to hell with celebrities spewing politics and other stuff, but it's usually politics. If it's the hip-hop awards or something like that, then you get into other "political" stuff like who is dissing who, who is better, this that and the other thing.
I miss the glamour days like u said when people dressed up and BEHAVED in public (for the cameras at least) and didn't spew out anything. Usually because they were under contract with some studio / music company and they had to be on their best behavior. Alot of times those studios executives made the celebrities appear to be people they are not. But that's a diff. topic at another time. but in general, I do like the old glamour days.
