That's not true! There are other Canadian posters on here in case you haven't noticed and some of them do watch PRIME. Jenya and I are just the only ones that will admit it!

I post it for people who want to read it no matter how many or how few there are. If you don't like it, you can choose to ignore it or read something else. Just don't tell me what I should or should not write.

I sometimes see posts from people who mention programs that they watch on stations like Me TV in Chicago or One TV which has shows like Amen, 227, and Good Times, or even their local UHF station. They all receive a small audience and most of them aren't available in Canada but I find them interesting and informative nevertheless. If you took the time to read them yourself, you might actually learn something.

Even though you don't get PRIME, those same episodes that I mention each week could show up on TV Land or WPIX or somewhere else in your viewing area one day, and you might want to follow along. At least you'll have a point of reference that you can look at while watching a particular episode. In that respect, my efforts will have been worthwhile. And no, I don't intend to stop!

Talking Posts are helpful

To retrotvcollector:

I am from BC and am watching Prime and I think it is very nice that someone takes the time to inform us on the episodes are going to be aired.

You are not the monitor of this website, so if you don't like this thread, then get off of it.

If there is one thing that I can't stand on chat rooms its people who are rude and act as if they own the board.

Keep up the good work Sal! By the way, I'm from the sunny Okanagan.

Actually, there's alot of people who get that channel.

I only watched a few episodes, and I find the show is kind of stupid. That goofy teacher, Mr. Kotter, tells alot of dumb not-very-funny jokes at the end of each episode.

Yeah the Kotter jokes was pointless. But the point I'm trying to make is someone who doesn;t have this channel might get annoyed that they can't watch the episodes on Prime. That's all

Well I don't get METV in Chicago, and a lot of people post info on that channel, but I don't get annoyed. Why should I?

If you want that channel, and you live in the U.S., I've said this a million times to other American posters here, is to look around for a Free-To-Air satellite dish, and you can get that channel- and most other Canadian classic TV channels with the ExpressVu Satellite signal.

My Free-To-Air dish gets DirectTV, ExpressVU, and SkyLink satellite service (From Europe) all on one reciever. That's over 3000 channels.

Don't get jealous, get smart, and look around. I don't even get a monthly bill for any of my satellite services.

Nope. It's not stealing. Free-to-Air dishes are legal here, until a law, Like in England, can force you to pay a flat-rate fee to access the signals. It's still in the courts, and it's up to the satellite companies right now to define that.

As far as I know, they are legal in the United States as well.

Much like downloading music in Canada. That's legal here as well, as long as you don't sell the music privatly without a copyright license from the distributer.
