heres an idea for a new sitcom.
THE GOLDEN BOYS
starring BOB NEWHART,BILL COSBY & DON RICKIES
think of the amazing chemistry between these comedians in one sitcom.

thats not a bad idea apple and think of all the other tv ledgends who could be guest stars like dick vandyke tom poston don knotts and the list goes on

All I can think of with this idea is 2 things.

Egos and dollars of having to pay these actors.

But still, it would be interesting to see how it was played out in scripts
and characters.

Nice idea but only one thing, I'd change the title, the Golden Boys sound a lil feminish.

I think they did a good job with male counterparts for the Golden Girls in the "Vacation" episode in 1986, when they meet teh guys in their crappy hotel room and they were trapped on a supposedly deserted isle.

Hmm, what could have been...

Not a bad idea. Very similar to THE SUNSHINE BOYS, which is a Neil Simon play.
