If you're a regular person, not holding any kind of state/federal office position, how would you go about proposing a law? Say I wanted to propose a law to Congress... what would I have to do?

Actually, you should probably write/email your congressman. Not that I know what that means. I just hear it a lot.

Write a letter to your congressman explaining everything. They're number one priority is their constituents and since in a couple of years you'll be within the legal voting age, they'll help you, since they figure you'll help them by voting for them. Anyway, yeah....they'd know exactly what to do to lobby it to Congress.

SWEET... thanks for the reply, toots! Our congressman is a really good friend of the family's. Infact, he's giving me an internship with him in a few years. This should be easy.

You know... not that I'm looking to propose a law or anything...
