From watching Moesha, it seemed as though teh child lacked common sense on the more important matters. That's why she was always getting in trouble.

Peferct example: the credit card episode! Even Q was telling her to keep quiet when the cop came up, but NOOOOO, she kept going on and on and got Q thrown in jail. And then she charged the bail on Frank's card and tried to erase it. That situation could have been avoided if she had just kept quiet.

Oh and the Tiajiana episode, i would have loved to slap her silly when she GAVE THE CAR KEYS TO THE SPANISH GUY!

And all thjouse fights she gets in with her daddy- IT'S ALL HER FAULT!!! SHE was teh one who snuck out, SHE was the one who broke rules, SHE went on forbidden dates! And she's getting on her daddy for trippin'? Please, at the end of the day, she brought ALL OF THAT ON HERSELF. That's why she got sent to Bridgewood. I say, good enough for her ass.

And the Ditch party, she got suspended for those knuckleheads and a guy that played her for a fool in the pilot? I would have sung like a bird to Dee the first chance I got. And that girl she hated was there too, that would have cost her the scholarship that Moesha was angling for! Friends or no friends, everyone has to do the right thing. And if no one really appreciated that, then to Hell with them.

All of these situations could have been avoided with just good old fashioned common sense.

There are teenagers out there like that. I thought it brought a sense of reality. I do agree with you that she should have kept her mouth shut and gave in. She was miss "I'm in control".
