In watching the episodes where Carl courts Florida, I've noticed that his character has a very odd way of speaking. Very weird nuances in the way he says things. Is this just me???

I never liked Carl after he chewed out Florida, calling her "Perfect". Besides, he sounded like he was drunk anyway.

Carl sounds like one of those old white male news reporters from back in the 50's & 60's, you know the ones you'd hear on those old radios & the black&white tvs.
