Well, it is getting to that time of year again! Bat season!

My chimney has been sealed on top with a screen and my" bat killer " husband has assured me that nothing will get through this year! So you will be the first to know if anything will be flying though my house this year!

Although
I am sure that the" Halloween King"(Fleet) would love it!

So, we'll see!

I've never seen a bat in my life! Which is okay by me.
I have seen a lot of possums, squirrels and jackrabbits.

A good idea to put an anti-bat screen on the chimney.

Bats are GREAT!! We put two bat boxes on our shed this year. We have them all summer long and I love going out at dusk watching them feed on the insects! They also dive-bomb our pool for drinks of water!

Bats are great to have on your property - they keep the insects down (especially skeeters - good for West Nile elimination). I'd do my husband in before a bat!!

LOL I used to like bats as long as they were outdoors and not flying around inside my house! Believe me, I was so shocked at the way I reacted! But I was sitting at the computer and the dang thing flew right between me and the monitor and went down behind the desk. Let's just say that I was a "little" startled!

I had a bat in my room over the summer time .. I was sound asleep in my bed all of the sudden i heart flapping against the walls scared the hoot out of me, my dad finally got it out over the weekend... lol

if we're in our pool @ night, there is this one that sometimes flies over and eats the bugs that are floating ontop of the pool...it freaks me out EVERYTIME
