Default Wonder when the spinoff discussions will begin, 2006? 2007?

Ok, It's about time to combine both spinoffs of Sanford and Son, title the Set-"The Spinoffs of Sanford and Son" and have Grady and Aunt esther on the front cover. I only seen 4 of 8 eps of Sanford Arms and 2 eps of Grady. So I see no reason why both spinoffs shouldn;t be combined and have a total of 20 episodes, 3 Disc Set. Grady had about 11 eps and Sanford Arms had 8. It would just be foolish for these spinoffs not to be released at all.

Brian I'm talking about the two shows that are connected to Sanford and Son. Esther's and Grady's show. sanford had fred in it and it wasn;t a spinoff, it was a new updated version of the origianl show. So that show is not in the same category as sanford arms and grady

Well this wouldn't be a debate that last too long because it's clear that sanford was it's OWN SHOW-lol There wasn't a Fat white guy or aunt esther's nephew cliff on sanford and son, just sanford, which was a updated version of the original show

So Archie Bunker's Place was not an All In The Family Spinoff?

Archie Bunkers place was a CONTINUATION. The name was just changed from All In the Family to Archie Bunkers Place. Now in Sanford's case, it wasn't a continuation because it started 3 years after the original show ended. So Sanford was just a UPDATED version of the original show. Always remember, if the main character is still involved, it's never a spinoff. It can;t be a spinoff if the main character is still on the show

The man is correct. Why do some of you insist on continually arguing the fact with him?

Exactly, it's not even worth debating-lol If the Main character is still on the show it's never considered a spinoff

I just thought it was obvious going by Archie Bunkers Place that when the Main character s still involved it's not a spinoff. Not Sanford can't be considered a continuation because it aired 3 years after S&S ended so it was a updated version of the Original show.

Your argument has no logic. Where has it ever said that a main character can't have a spin off. That is silly.
