hey i dont know if this includes 90s and 80s songs 2 but i bene wondering for long time know.in late r early 80s there was this song called Gloria sung by some differnt female singers and others.my fav is by laura brandagon.

so my question is who the heck is the Gloria song that everyone sings about lol i always wonderd this can anyone help me out be really apperciated

I have a recording of a song on a Soul Compilation album which sounds very early 80's by a black female singer sounding suspiciously like Gladys Knight, but not quite! The ballad begins "Gloria, Gloria// Things ain't been the same since you went away...." Unfortunately, the sleeve notes were stolen from me, so I am unsure of the artist. I am sure the song is called "Gloria" though! Hope this is some help to you! _Ziggy_

yeah thanks Ziggy u helped me some just wierd hearing so many songs good songs and all about 1 woman named Gloria something and yet we never know who she is or why everyone sings about her my favorite 1 is sung by Lauren brandigon well late Lauren Brandigon anyway hope we find mystery out someday thanks for helping me out Ziggy.
