Default Now that I think about it, it was dumb for Penny to say......

DYN-O-MITE!!!!

I think someone posted this before, but JJ was a different person in season 5, and Penny wasn't around when he said DYN-O-MITE. So how could she imitate him?.?.?.?

Craftman I was the one who brung that up and i personally felt that good Times should have been cancelled right after Penny said it. Like you said it made no sense since J.J's Dynomite days were OVER by time she came around

They had Michael imitating JJ, Penny imitating JJ, even Flo did it. Then they had JJ trying to be like James with his wise cracks to Willona. What was up with all that?

oh yeah. btw, i didn't like that episode. first a blind salesman, then a deaf student, a girl in a wheelchair, a young boy possibly losing his hearing. Man, so many issues regarding the handicapped. not a personal attack, but there was always a message that the producers wanted to touch on.

See, we as the viewers, aren't supposed to see everyday life with the Evans family in the Evans household. So we are supposed to think that one day in time JJ said it around Penny.

I liked that episode about Willona dating the deaf guy. That's what I liked about Good Times, they put in serious topics and still had comedy in it. To me, that's hard to balance those two issues and make it work.

Like that part in "Willona's Dilema" when JJ said," Hey, Walt how come you never told me you were deaf."

Walt - "Once you tell people, they start treating you differently."

JJ - "Aww, that's ridiculous. I mean (over pronounciating every word) WHO...WOULD... DO... A... THING...LIKE...THAT.

Walt - "JJ, I only need to read your lips, not your tonsils."

The point is, Penny should have never said it because she looked stupid when she said it.
