Default Did you know that.........

the actor Adam Wade, the Guy who played Willona's Ex Boyfriend Frank Mason in Season 5 was America's First Black Game Show Host in the 1970's of a Game show called-"Musical Chairs".

1975 Jet Magazine

Naw, Solomon, I didn't know that. But I've seen him in Sanford and Son, The Jeffersons, What's Happening, and Hill Street Blues too.

He was boring on the Jeffersons and Sanford and Son, but was a Riot on What's Happening. I can still remember his phrase

"When you want your fortune made, don't depend on luck, put your trust in Marty Slade and save yourself a buck"-then he snapped his fingers

LOL-that was his line from"Shirley's Cookies"

I haven't seen "What's Happening" in soooooooo long. I can't wait until it starts on TV Land even though I know they will edited it. When I see it on TVLand then I might buy the DVD's.

Does anyone have the DVD's?
