I know that in the show, the Tanner's home was located at 1882/1883 Girard Street (... or "Gerrard" as most people spell it. There actually is a "Girard Street" in San Francisco, though), but I was wondering if anyone knows where the actual location of the house is. The show actually featured the "Painted Ladies" of Alamo Square during its opening credits, but the house they used as the main house is not one of these (The location around it just does not match at all).
Did anyone actually go to S.F. and see the house? If so, where is it (what street)? If anyone knows, I'd be really grateful to get any info, because my fiancé and I are planning to goes to San Francisco for our honeymoon next summer. |
