I agree. I thought "Showbiz Show" was very funny. The best thing Spade did on SNL was when he ripped into celebrities on Weekend Update.

David Spade is hilarious! Though thanks to The Emporer's New Groove, I always imagine him as a llama

I haven't heard of this new show, but hope to see it soon.
