Default Season 7?

Anyone think they could've squeezed another season of Fresh Prince. I know Will wanted to stop because his movie career was on the rise, but it still would've been nice to see some things tied up for instance.....

Will graduating from college
Carlton at Princeton and finally getting a girlfriend maybe
Maybe Lisa returning
Possibly the return of Janet Hubert-Whitten (I wish)

It's not like the show was stale or anything. Just a thought.

Carlton had a girlfriend, The one who dropped by and said he was the father of her baby. I really can't think of anything else they could have done after 96 but create a Spinoff featuring Ashley in NYC or Carlton in College

I think it was good that Fresh Prince stopped there. If Will wasn't interested in movies. I think a Jazz&Will spin-off with them living in the apartment could have been interesting. Didn't Jazz & Will get a place together.

Actually, I saw an interview with James Avery on one of those VH1 retrospective shows and he said Fresh Prince could have gone on 3 OR 4 MORE YEARS!!

I totally agree!! This is one of the top 2 or 3 sitcoms of ALL TIME!! There are so many different characters with distinct personalities that you could have easily gone on a few more years!!

Sometimes its good to bail out early like Cosby did with The Cosby Show. The worse thing that a show could do is keep going until it gets stale and forgotten about like Family Matters.

I wouldve like to seen Season 7, will and carlton finishing college, Ashley getting through high school, etc. of course, the show is now located in New York since they moved.

If they kept that annoying Daphne Maxwell Reid, there would be no way in hell that show would go on. By season five, all of them got on my last nerves..except for Ashley of course.

Fresh Prince bowed out at the right moment, something Family Matters and Facts of Life should have done.

The main reason I have always supported a 7th Season for this show was because I wanted to see Will and Carlton finish college at ULA. That way the show could have ended with us finding out what Will's career (or major) was. Also, Carlton would have then went off to Princeton for their law school or graduate program. It never made much sense to me that he transfered there for his senior year. A bit too late if you ask me if you are an undergraduate. He might as well have stayed at ULA for his last year and then went to Princeton for post-graduate education.

I will always find it weird that this show ended with all the other characters starting new and excting lives except for Will-lol

How about Will finally patching things up with his father, Lou Smith, for good this time?

i would've been up for a 7th season-minus nicky and the second vivian that is though and the storylines to be more like the first 3 seasons, as opposed to the last 2, which were a dissapointment
