Default What I Didn't Like About The Way They Used Jack's Character

He was supposed to be this muscular watch dog,and they made him look like a twerp sometimes.Like they had that Harvey guy test his strength and he could barley move the guy's hand in Mighty Mouth. Also in Macho Man,they had Jack not able to open the marmalade jar and Terri opened it without even trying. But they made him look good in some scenes.Like when Jack took down that big guy in Macho Man without knowing that he was a cop.ALso in Jack Goes The Distance, they had him knock out this big boxing champion and he didn't know until Larry & Furley told him so.

Well that's how the character was from day 1, it's wasn;t like he was Dominant and Agressive and then turned to be a twerp

I didn't say that he was a twerp.I just said that in some scenes, his actions made him look like a twerp and other scenes where his actions made him look like a guy who won't back down from anybody

While Harvey was testing his strength, Jack was pushing himself up off his chair with just one arm. That's not exactly something a weak person can do--this scene is a bit paradoxical.

If John worked out more then maybe he might be alive today although we can't say for sure.

Also, John was so much bigger than skinny Max it seems hard to believe he could be scared of him!

John definately had to keep himself in shape, so I'm pretty sure he worked out whenever he could. Someone he worked for ( can't recall who it was....a director of one of the plays John was in before he hit it big ) told him he better keep healthy because he had a tendency to put on weight. So, yeah, I'd say in his younger years, he definately worked out....as anybody ages, they tend to pack on pounds and can't keep them off. I don't know if that was sole reason he passed away, though...I'm sure there were many contributing factors, mostly hereditary.

His diet could have been better too. I heard somewhere than eventhough he had a trainer and worked out he really did not have very good dietary habits.

Someone told me once that John ate "anything and everything". I don't know if that is true but I doubt he was a health nut either.
