I surely think so. Someone made an excellent point one time concerning that. I think it was on here, but they said that GT probably knew they weren't going to be renewed for another season, so they threw everything together at once.
How can EVERYBODY have so much luck? And this time, no one was there to take it away from them. JJ becomes a cartoon arteeeeest, as he says. Keith, after suffering a Willis McGahee type injury, signs with the Bears. Thelma becomes pregnant, they're scheduled to move into a new apartment?? Why not a house? Have you ever heard of a football player, along with his wife, living in a apartment/condo? And Florida goes with them. Think of Thelma's response: She didn't know how to take care of a child and she would feel comfortable with her mother there with her. Nothing wrong with that. My mother will turn 76 next Tuesday and if she was in the same boat, hell yeah she would live with me. My wife and I would just have to "do it" in the bedroom rather than all over the house As for Mike, he should've at least bought a car or something to make him look good. What did he say? He was living on campus. So what, LOL. Lastly, by a coincidence, Willona moves into the same apartment as the Andersons and Florida. Wait a minute!! How did Willona become a part of this. To my knowledge, she didn't seem to have a problem living there in the projects. And she just "happened" to move into the same apartment as T and K. If she worked the boutique all of those years, I guess she did make some serious dough. |

It was real corny to have Willona buying a APT in the same buliding. It could have been elsewhere |

Exactly. I don't live in Chicago, so I know nothing about Lake Shore Drive. The way they talk about it, it must a rich neighborhood.

Willona got a promotion as "Head Buyer", that is why she moved out of the projects.

but yeah, this was a sorry ending. Like i said before when this thread was started a while back by someone else, I said they should have had a two-part episode and stretched it out. As for Michael, what's the big Yahoo for him for anyways??? He could have moved onto campus anytime. Why didn't he do it sooner? And please don't remind me of that episode abt that white girl. that doesn't count!!!!

I think the ending was perfect, I Loved it.
Did y'all realize people, did y'all realize, in the last season the show went on hiatus because of low rating and the producers (I think) got the word the show was gonna be cancelled so the writers finally did right by us and decided to give us some closure on the Evans family. So I think that's why everything good had to happen in one episode all at once to end without wondering did the Evans ever get out of the ghetto. I thnk it was DYN-O-MITE!!! |
