no, I remember it. "Beacon Hill" was an american version of a british show that aired in the 7os called "Upstairs, Downstairs". That show aired on PBS, and was about the servents at an estate, in the early 1900s.
"Beacon Hill" was based on it, and aired on CBS in, I think, 1977. It was about the same thing, only it was set in Boston, in an area where some rich people live, called Beacon Hill, and it was set in the 1920s. (on "MASH" Major Winchester was from Beacon Hill) |

YEP! Cheers is there, actually its called the Bull & Finch.
I can think of no shows that were loved by critics, and not by fans, but the one that immediately stuck out at me when reading what I thought the title of the thread was (TV Shows that was Loved by the viewers...), GILLIGAN'S ISLAND! Adored by fans, hated by critics. pat |

I want this show on DVD. There were so many gags in it that the viewer couldn't catch them all in one airing. |

I'm also a fan of the short lived ABC police spoof Police Squad!. It had a second life as feature comedies a few years later with The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! ('88), The Naked Gun 2˝: The Smell of Fear ('91) and Naked Gun 33 1/3: The Final Insult ('94).
