1978 Tv Guide Fall Preview
Usually in the 70's when you read a Fall preview, it stated the Changes in the tv shows for the new TV season. That's why i found it so odd when I recently read a 1978 Fall Preview for Tv guide, and it didn't say anything about Mabel king leaving the series like it did in the 1976 Fall preview when he stated John Amos left the series. There was no mention of any changes for What's happening for the 78-79 season, and the Mother was not seen at all. i know viewers back then was wondering where the hell the mother was or when she was going to appear again.
