If the woman in question was seen in a desert, then you're thinking of Kimberly Pandelios. The latest on the case is that a man named David Rademaker was arrested and charged with the murder in April of 2004. But considering the slow nature of California's legal system, as well as the fact that I have heard no word on a trial date, he probably hasn't gone to trial yet.
Here's the article about his arrest: http://da.co.la.ca.us/mr/042004a.htm I recall that Charles Rathbun was suspected of Kimberly's murder. As you probably know, Rathbun is doing life in prison (without the possibility of parole) for the 1995 murder of Linda Sobek. However, although both Kimberly and Linda were models, there has been no hard evidence of any connection between the two cases. |
