I remember a different theme song - kind of a rap that said, "227 is the place to be, with Marla Gibbs and her family..." Anyone else remember it?

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! I remember that! It has been 20 years since that jingle was used in the promo to introduce the show. It was not the theme song but the song used in the promo for the commerical. "227 is the place to be, with Marla Gibbs and her family. It's 2-2-7-coming-this-fall!" Then the end was changed to..."coming-up-next!" Thanks for bringing back that memory. I had to be about 7 years old.

Ditto here, I was glad that someone brought it up. I think after it went off the air syndicators used it to promote it. I vagely, remember something along the lines of 2-2-7, five nights a week only on W-A-T-L Fox 36, yeah!!!
