I'll pick Lean On Me. It was more real and dramatic. Plus, it reminded me of my own high school because it came out when I was a freshman.

Dangerous Minds

A great movie based on a great book called "My Posse Don't Do Homework" by LouAnn Johnson. The soundtrack is great too.

It's not on the list, but my fave film is the film "Summer School" (1987). It doesn't take place entirely in a classroom, but a lot of scenes are in a classroom.

I love this movie......I have a beautiful analogue copy on VHS
