Thumbs up

No matter which section of SO you are on, if you are a moderator, that will be listed underneath your ID.

To find the moderators of the Trading Post specifically, go to the bottom of the man Trading Post page, and you'll see them listed on the bottom righthand side.

We have an excellent crew, and I'm thrilled.

No problem! I did hear back from GreatSpacePort (Greg) and he does not live in the Katrina area, so all is well with him. (We hadn't actually traded yet...we are negotiating & he normally responds within a day or two...so not hearing from him for a week right when Katrina hit was a bit creepy...)

well my old street nickname from Jersey and NYC. years back was "DA JOKER" ,.. however since one of my ole trading buddies is named The Joker ,.. so as not to confuse people i did not use my old nickname on the internet.

so DAJIZZARIZZA = DA JOKER RESSURECTED

and you Miss Savage ?

The heck with what it means...how the heck do you PRONOUNCE it?????

PS - my screen name was derived in an attempt to find something that no one could associate with me such as favorite actors/shows, dog's names, husband's name, etc. I was drinking a glass of red wine at the time and remembered what my husband always ribs me about a Jewish American Princess' favorite "wine"... ("I wanna go to Miami..."), hence the variation in the spelling. And I was born in 1956. (I know, you all are amazed because I look so young...)

Actually, I think this is a GREAT topic!!! (Haven't we ALL at one time or another thought...'how the heck did they come up with THAT'????)

I was a huge Scorpions fan for perosnal reasons, and the album SavageAmusement- was quite the....appropriate name for many reasons- but the core reason, love the album.

Just be careful with some of the people who take their position as moderator and decide to use profanity. I was called the B-word several times by one. Mind you, this moderator is no more than 17 years old. Just be careful, this is no opinion, just fact.

Hey...doesn't anybody want to know how I picked my screen name I was looking for "The Nanny" series on tape when I first registered with sitcomsonline. Who knew I'd still be around 2+ years later! I probably would have chosen a better screen name if I knew I'd get hooked on trading! But, everybody knows me as Nannyfan so I just stick with it.

I appreciate anybody who takes on moderating this board! I know I wouldn't want to do it! It requires wayyyyyyy more patience and tactfullness than I can muster even on my best days!

I don't like to cast stones, but your avatar is profane. Good for the goose but not the gander?

As for the origination of my ID, after a run-in with notorious bad trader Tina Ledbetter I did a bit of research on-line and felt like a detective. But alas, my favorite female detective character Agent 99 was taken, as was Agent 86. Still, I do really like Agent 13 and his funny personality, even if I'm a girl.

"MAKE YOURSELF USEFUL AND WIPE MY BUTT" is not using profanity. Being called the B-word BY A MODERATOR and having an avatar that didn't have the B-WORD IN IT, is like comparing apples to oranges. SO, I GUESS YOU CONDONE A MODERATOR CALLING PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY WOMEN B*****??? FOR NO REASON. Well then, I guess you don't care what people say, so then why mention it.

BTW IT'S "BUT NOT GOOD FOR THE GANDER (not ganger)
