I think at that moment when Lex punched Clark, the evil side of Lex unleashed for good. Also, I bet Lex always wanted to hit Clark, and when he did he made sure he hit him good. Just like the fifth season of the Gilmore Girls was advertise as "the girls best season yet"...
Season 5, for Smallvile will be just the same...

yeah, but how come clark bled? he only bleeds when there is kryptonite around... or something... right? heh... i watched last nights episode ... and lex was like "i used to (miss not having a sibling) until i met you clark, you are the closer to me than any blood brother could be." ... sigh... i wish they could still be friends, but its more exciting now that they will be enemies! :P

I didn't see the preview yet. That seems so exciting that Lex and Clark will start to be enemies. That seems wierd that Clark starts to bleed after Lex hits him.

do u guys think clark and lex's relationship became old? like... somene always has to say something nice and then they always look at each other like they're friends.... well think about this: "what if the producers made their relationship sickening so that when they become enemies youll be like "FINALLY!""

I don't think it became old,it's still good but,I think it's time to see them take the next step on their destiny.I watched last week episode where Lex was splited in 2 different personalities by black kryptonite:the good and the bad Lex.I got to say that I prefered the bad Lex.Michael was fantastic and he seem to be very comfortable in that character and Tom was wonderful aswell. It looked very promessing for the future.I wish to see a spinoff of Smallville why not Metropolis???

I agree that it hasn't really gotten old, it will just be exciting to see something new. I'm looking forward to it because it should be intreasting to see how it's done and exciting to watch.
