Default Was Florida's line edited out in this episode?

I watched GT this early evening abt JJ winning the lottery. After the scuffle when the two girls were apprehended by the family, Florida tells Thelma to call the police. Then the scene seemed to be cut right there. Is the part that was edited out the line by Thelma where she said something to the effect of the police won't come out and Florida yells out, "You tell them we're white!" ? I remember that line being said in an episode. Was this the episode????? Damn, if it is, that is one funny line, it should never have been edited out. I don't understand how 5 seconds of dialogue can make a difference to TV Land. It only makes a difference when THEY CUT THINGS OUT!!!!!!

Yeah I believe that's what Florida says, TvLand can chop up a episode and they will leave the boring stuff and cut out the funny parts. That episode will air next Friday on TvOne.

I don't know it might be an east coast thing, but I live in Dallas Tx. I have Directv so that's how I got it, I know Comcast carries it also. But I guess it all depends on where you live.

You mean you can make all these comments on the show just from memory.

Well, if you want some advice, I think you should get them. I'm telling you, to me it's pretty cool to watch any episode you want, when you want, go back and check quotes and see if that was really a guy that Michael was kissing!!!

Oh yeah, I think for the most part the episodes are not edited on DVD. I found the one edit in "The Baby", but that's the only one I found that I can remember. I still have to go through the 5th season though.

Let me know if this helped your decision any.

Yeah the DVD's are great. I like to use the zoom tool on my DVD player to see things in the back ground up close LOL. They aren't edited, they are really great to have on the days when you have nothing to watch on tv. And theres closed caption just incase you miss something. I recommend you get them.

At walmart some are down to 13 bucks so that's great also

The fact that this is coming from you, I will then look forward to buying the DVD's as I had planned. I guess it would be fun to check out the episodes the way you say. Yeah, I have been a fan of GT's since it's first airing, and having watched them over and over and over again, it becomes engrained in my brain. Just like I love Lucy. I know that show backward and forward. GTimes comes a close second. But I know that there are others on this board who know the show WAY BETTER than I do. Thanx for the nice comments Craftman. You are so nice.
