Default What do you think were some of the dumbest lines JJ ever said

I think one was from "The Family Gun". When James couldn't find the gun and JJ said, "Maybe a moth ate it. Shouldn't be too hard to find, just look for a pregnant looking moth." Why did they put that stupid line in there.

Stupid writers. I wonder if Jimmie had any hand in writing some of his "own dumb lines". After all, he is a comedian and did write. As a matter of fact, he currently does some writing according to his bio on his website.

I don't know if anybody knows this but Jimmie was close friends with Jay Leno and David Letterman back in the day as all were up and comming comics. Letterman and Leno both wrote for Good Times so some of those dumb lines could have come from them and Jimmie used them because they were buddies.

What I want to know, is why those two were not credited on the show's credits??? I keep reading and hearing abt those two, yet nothing shows on the GT credits. Also, Jimmie did alot of writing before he did GT. I also mentioned on previous posts, if Jimmie made his own dumb lines????

Maybe they would show those names under writers credits, and I don't think they ever showed writers credits at the end of the show. Also, If they did show writers credits, Leno and Letterman probably only had one liners that they wrote and maybe not get credit for one or two lines, I don't know.
