It seems like every new thread that goes up is about a segment that we've discussed a zillion times in the past. Are there any segments that we haven't discussed on this board that anyone would like to bring up?

No kidding. I think I'm going to pull my hair out if one more person mentions "the story about that girl abducted from a phone booth". Gee....what was her name again?
This board has a search feature for a reason. |

I don't really mind it.
I think it’s mostly new members that bring up topics that were already discussed in the past, but some of the original threads are hard to find (going back several pages) --- especially you don't know specifics. Since they don't make new episodes, there's only so much we can talk about before we've got nothing left. Then where will we be? LOL!

One that I haven't seen discussed (maybe it has been), is the unsolved murder of 4 year-old little Rachael Runyan in Utah in 1982. That segment was heartbreaking and spooky at the same time. Anyone remember that one?

What about the Sarah Powell case; Where the pretty young girl woke up bound and gagged and couldn't recall what had happened and then she had visions of her attackers climbing through her bedroom window later. Her house was ransacked but nothing was stolen and it was raining outside yet no footprints were found...

There are actually more than one way to discuss cases. There are things that can be discussed about cases, or lists of stories that have certain similarites.
It was quite a shock to me that my earlier thread about UM stories from other countries that fall under the Fugitives, Missing, or Unexplained Death catagory got no replies. Even if there were no stories like this from other parts of the world on UM, we could at least talk about why, and wonder what it would be like if there were. Like I said, why do these cases happen mostly in Canada and the US, while all other catagories of episodes have occoured worldwide? This is a topic that could make great conversation. Could you imagine UM profiling fugitives from interpol? If we all want new episodes that much we should all get to our word processors and type letters of intent and send them to either's UM's HQ or a network. This kind of action has been talked about before. |

Have we ever discussed the case of the teenager that was raped and then murdered in a graveyard?
It was really terrifying to hear the details. It's one of the scariest things I could ever imagine. It was a newer segment -- I think 2001 (but not sure). I can only imagine how freaky the reenactment would have been if it was done during the early NBC years! I don't think I'd be able to watch it then! ![]() To my knowledge, the case is still unsolved.

Um... don't think so. She was raped in a car, I think -- and then she ran from the car and into a cemetary to hide. They ran after her and killed her. So sad I can't even imagine her terror.

What about the twin who claimed his brother was the one who did the robbery which sent him to prison? Geraldo did an interview with both of them. The twin is still in prison.
