Default Who agrees that James Evans was the most fun to watch when he.......

lost his temper? There was a debate on the general disccusion board and some said that james was not fun to watch when he was mad, even if you are watching him as an adult-lol Is there any adult GT fan that think James is not fun to watch when he gets mad?

That's what made James the best. As a kid, I didn't like it, but now as an adult, I can finally appreciate it.

Love it as a kid, love it as an adult. James is what made this show.

I like how he snapped out in ep-"The Investigation"-when he said-"What the hell does all that have to do with me losing my job?"

OMG!!!!! I also loved how he went nuts when Clarisa said she couldn't go out with J.J. and he tells Florida"....boy this makes my jaws tight!" James had so many classic lines when he was made.

"And I don't want to hear alot of YANG YANG . . ."

James was GREAT when he lost his temper. Because he seemed so serious and hostile, you couldn't help but BE THERE with him when his anger exploded. I also liked him in The Investigation(76) when he saw Wanda come in to the apartment all nervous, then go back out and look around, then came back in again. He looked so disgusted, but HIL-LAR-IOUS.

WANDA: What makes you think I'm nervous?

JAMES: (Disgusted Look) Well, it might have something to do with the way you CAME IN- WENT OUT- AND CAME IN AGAIN . . .(His look makes me laugh out loud every time, like this old woman is out of her F***** MIND)

I loved James' reaction when he was jealous in that episode when Flo went out to lunch with her boss. James looked at her boss one way (angry) and when Flo said something, he quickly turned his head and looked at her another way. Two totally different looks and his eyes, man that was so funny. I could laugh at that forever. That's how my ex-husband would be whenever I had an association with a man for whatever reason. It wasn't funny though, but I could laugh at that abt James.

Speaking of James' temper, here's another funny one. Remember the Ernie Harris show, the morning after those two hitman appeared at their apartment. Willona comes over to borrow the salt and pepper shakers. Florida then compalins about them never greeting each other nicely.

Willona: "I'm willing to try. Hello James"

James turns around, teeth gritted, looking disgusted, "Hello Willona".

Everytime I watch that part, I crack up.

I liked when he gave "The Big Mac" to that kid that Mike invited over. That was sure funny when the kid tried to escape but James pulled him back in .BTW,James is my fav. character next to J.J.

PS:Why was James' character killed off?Did John Amos do something wrong for them to do that? That would be the only reason that would happen.Like when Sasha Mitchell who played Cody on Step By Step was kicked off the show, the show wasn't as fun to watch as it was with him on it

NEXT TO J.J????

Amos character was killed off because Norman Lear discovered a Magazine Article that had John talking about what was going on behind the scenes of the show in 1976
