I had to do a system recovery(non-destructive) this morning and my volume is gone... anyone know how to install it? There's no icon on the taskbar and you can't turn it up or down... it says no audio device found when you try to play sound.

I don't think so... this happened before and somehow within a few days I got it working fine... I've never used a disc I don't think.
The only sound is a "ding" noise when an error box or whatever pops up... and you can't get rid of it. |

Got it... I was able to manually install everything through the control panel.
