A Question About Opening/Song on Season 3 DVD?

Guys,

I am getting ready to buy the Season 3 DVD disk of Gilligan's Island! A reviewer at Amaon, com made a comment that the opening story sequence and song are in the wrong place on Season 3's DVD.

There is one episode on the Season 3 DVDs where the theme song and the video are not exactly in sync----I don't remember which episode, but somebody pointed it out recently in another thread. I watched it and it is about 5 seconds off and very noticeable. However, the rest of the episode is perfectly coordinated.

One of the reviewers actually said that the opening credits were "in the wrong place in some episodes" since there was an opening scene and then the credits instead of it starting with the theme song like all the Season 1 and 2 episodes. The reviewer apparently was unaware that some of the Season 3 episodes have a short scene called a "teaser" to set up the basic story and that is how they were originally produced.

Oh, and if you're about to buy Season 3---beware! The box will tell you that the documentary is on the B side of Disc 3, but it's not. It's on the A side---the B side has no content at all. A few of us thoght at first that something was wrong with our discs or with our DVD players when we put Disc 3 on side B and it kept trying unsuccessfully to load.
